These terms and conditions govern your use of the Smart Driving Academy website at smartdrivingacademy.ie and any lesson booking or training service arranged through it. By using this website or submitting a booking request, you agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Lesson requests submitted via the website booking form are enquiries only and are not confirmed until you receive a reply from Smart Driving Academy confirming the date, time and details. Cancellations must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled lesson start time. Late cancellations made within 24 hours of the lesson, or failure to attend without notice (no-show), may be charged at the full lesson rate. We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a lesson due to instructor unavailability, vehicle issues or unsafe weather conditions, in which case no charge will be made.

Students must hold a valid learner permit for the relevant vehicle licence category before taking any lesson. It is the student's responsibility to bring their permit to every session. Students must inform the instructor before the lesson of any medical condition, prescribed medication or other factor that may affect their ability to drive safely. Smart Driving Academy reserves the right to end a lesson immediately if the instructor considers that continuing would be unsafe, without refund of any unused portion of that lesson.

Lesson fees and payment terms will be confirmed at the time of booking confirmation. Payment is typically due before or at the start of each lesson or lesson block, as agreed. Smart Driving Academy does not store, process or have access to your payment card details. Any payment transactions are handled directly in person or through a third-party payment provider under that provider's terms.

Smart Driving Academy carries full motor insurance for all tuition vehicles as required by Irish law. We are not liable for test failures, as the outcome of a driving test is determined solely by the Road Safety Authority examiner. We are not liable for indirect losses, consequential damages, loss of earnings or any other losses arising from the use of our services or website, to the maximum extent permitted by applicable Irish law.

We reserve the right to change, update or remove content from this website at any time without notice. These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Ireland. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or your use of our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Irish courts.
